Origin error after installing Cats and Dogs

My game had been working fine until I installed the Cats and Dogs update.
I keep getting the "unable to start game without origin" 

I have no idea what to do. I followed all the instructions. Does anyone know what could help? Please and thank you.

Did you crack the game with the new crack, overwriting the old crack? That's the only solution that comes to mind, maybe another user can help.
