Origins Error? Can't access Ultimate Fix? No Adblocker.

Hello! I'm having an issue installing. Sims 4 base game runs fine, Get to Work runs fine, then Get Together gives me the "Origin is currently not running. Please make sure that Origin is running before attempting to play The Sims 4" error. I'm running checks each time I install something new, so I stopped there. 

Checking the threads, I see that The Sims 4 has an Ultimate Fix. However, the links do not open on the page for me (this page: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18086-the-sims-4-ultimate-fix# ). I see that the help section says to disable adblocker software. I don't have that installed on Firefox and couldn't figure out what to do, so I tried on Chrome. I don't have an adblocker under extensions. So I'm a bit at a loss of what to do here. 

I'm sure it's a really simple solution that I've missed somewhere. Oh, also I'm running on Windows 10 if that helps.

We don't really have an "Ultimate Fix" anymore, and the reason you cannot access the links from that thread is simply because we removed them a while ago already. You have to make sure first of all that you move the installation folder of The Sims 4, directly under C:\Program files or C:\Program files (x86), so away from the default folder C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts.

Then you need to check antivirus/Windows Defender exclusions. A general guide on antivirus issues can be found HERE, for Windows Defender under Windows 10 specifically, check THIS.

After doing so, please re-copy and re-paste the "Get together" files over your Sims 4 installation. Then try the game again. Good luck!
