HELPP ! lol [SOLVED]

hi i'm currently twiddling my thumbs and making my brain hurt because i am not sure how to install the laundry day pack and i don't know where to put them. i've downloaded it ok but i'm just sat here with the folder open thinking " where the hell does all this stuff go"" haha. my brother usually does all this for me but i'm left to do it myself this time. HELP MEEEE lol . Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the Forum @sims4world,

I moved your topic to the correct section (please avoid using the "Site Navigations"-forum, for game support, if at all possible).   That said, you simply have to copy/paste all folders included in the Laundry Day update, over your The Sims 4 installation.

Note: you MUST have all previous items installed as well, as mentioned in the guide here:

So you can't skip any of the intermediary steps there. Good luck and do keep us posted!

ok, sorry. i realised i placed it in the wrong place and posted it in download help instead. thank
you for your reply. Do i copy and paste all of the folders from laundry stuff to the sims 4 folder it self? sorry confused. ive never downloaded i update type of pack before. i have all previous packs though.

NOT the folder under "Documents".  

Your game is installed under C:\Program files (x86)\The Sims 4, most likely. And you need to copy/paste these update files, inside that folder "The Sims 4". When prompted, replace all existing files, and also merge folders.

i feel like a pain in the butt sorry! ive done what you have instructed but now it has come up with a error message. do you recognise it? sorry i know nothing about computers. after that error message it continued to do what it was supposed to. i replaced and merged like you said and i loaded up the game to check to see if it worked. it shows laundry day pack but says i do not own it.

would i be able to move my sims files/folders to another drive without it messing anything up as the drive i currently am storing them in id the d drive and it seems to be full hence the error message.

You can move your existing folder The Sims 4 from C:\Program Files to anywhere on your computer or external HDD.
Make sure you do NOT move it into directories with a name like Origin, Origin Games, Electronic Arts.

new error . i cleared up some space on my d drive and re downloaded the laundry pack but now im getting this error. Starting to give up

i did. its just saying a file is missing as shown above. i so wish i could work computers better

I see you have Game and Game_.
Delete both and recopy the folder Game from Laundry Day to your present The Sims 4 folder on your D drive.
