Sims 4 running slow

I downloaded everything up to cats and dogs and made sure to follow the instructions exactly. The problem I am having is my game will load but will move slow and freeze up at times. Is there a way to fix this. I have an all in one hp running windows 10

I suppose you could try lowering all your graphics settings, but other than that...I know this may be hard to swallow. But you may need to consider removing a few DLC, see the guide here for further information:

Also, does it make a difference if you switch to a different .exe file for starting the game? Or does the lagging occur with both the TS4.exe & TS4_x64.exe?

The lagging occurs either way and it also seems to make my computer run slower as well

i have the same problem.. it ran very awesome at first but now it freezes up a little
