OrangeEmu64.dll missing file error
Hi guys ! So i just installed the new stuff pack and started playing the game with it and it was all fine. After that i had some message from my microsoft security essentials saying i had to clean my pc because of a virus and after that it re-started the pc and now i went to play the game and it gives me this error saying it cant run the program because the OrangeEmu64.dll file isnt installed. Does anyone know what it is and how i can fix it ? Thanks in advance

Place your install folder of the Sins 4 on the exclusion-list of Microsoft Essentials.
Unpack the download for My First Pet again. Unpack with Winrar and copy folder Game it to your install folder.

Re: OrangeEmu64.dll missing file error
I've installed My First Pet already and played it successfully. However, the Windows Defender of my laptop (Windows 10) deleted the file OrangeEmu64.dll. Now I can't operate the game anymore. What do I do now?Tarac wrote:Place your install folder of the Sins 4 on the exclusion-list of Microsoft Essentials.

I found the way to exclude the game folder from WIndows Defender now, but now I have to reinstall the game or find another file OrangeEmu64.dll?

When you still have a Winrar version of the download for First Pet, unpack again and copy the folder Game again to your install folder.dinoocean2618 wrote:I've installed My First Pet already and played it successfully. You might run into trouble as - as soon as you extract the Winrar folder - the AV might struck again.
Swith your AV off before extraction.

I would also very strongly recommend that you add your "Downloads" folder (or whatever location your downloads are saved in), to the exclusions as well. Most people overlook this step, and then wonder why immediately after downloading something, their downloads have taken damage. So it's another very crucial step to do.
