The Sims 4 Installation Tips in My Experience (Optional Guide )
NOTE: I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND MY GUIDE FIRST ITS OPTIONAL GUIDE. DUE TO THE ADMINS CONCERNS TRY TO FOLLOW FIRST THE OFFICIAL GUIDE AND INSTRUCTION GIVEN.
First of all this are my procedure and alittle bit tweak of the installing process. Drive C: to Drive D:
#1 Download the game and its DLCs.
#2 have both extracted or not extracted files but place it on either C: or D: drive. this will serve as your backup files.
#3 Install Base Game on C: Drive, and DONT paste anything on it and Copy the Base Game Folder to Drive D:
#4 follow the official guide in this link https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly
#5 Note make sure you don't copy it on base game folder at C: instead on D: folder
#6 Always be aware on the "game folder" use the current DLC game folder. change the name of the "old game folder" or put it in another folder if incase any problem would occur.
#7 MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTALLATION GUIDE included for each .Rar files so you wont get any problems unless its your pc specs.
#8 Tested on Non Modded/Modded Gameplay #note make sure your mods is upto date or it my cause game crashes.
#Screenshot removed.
if you follow properly the procedure correctly until the last part your good to go.

Hello and welcome to the Forum @Camoboa,
The thing with moving the base game straight to another location is indeed a good recommendation (which we maybe should adopt as well, in our official guide).
About the screenshot you posted, I would recommend, just to be 100% sure to avoid possible confusion, that you delete the folders "Client" and "Simulation", as they don't belong there. If you know what you are doing it should not hurt to leave them, but...to be safe it may be worth thinking about.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Welcome and glad i could help develop the official guide better. and as for your concerns, i removed the screenshot in my guide.
I included a note that the official guide must be followed first. since the guide i posted is just optional.
