Do i just need the basegame to access the gallery and apply all of the dlcs here?

Yes, best solution is to buy base game and install it in Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4.
Use this one to access the Gallery, download whatever you like but NEVER save the game.

Download the pirated versions from basegame ->My First Pet  (or download the all-in-one, see https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t32895-the-sims-4-all-in-one-including-my-first-pet-stuff-version-1-41-38-1020#)
Play the game with the downloaded DLC's only.
