White screen in choosing house for household [SOLVED]

Finally got everything working, after installing and downloading every single patch, I was able to use the different worlds with CC. 


I updated the game to 1.41.42.1020, and when I tried placing a new sim to the expansion pack villages/towns, I ended up having a white screen with the same on the bottom. Although the base game villages are working when I try placing my sim there but yeah, only for the expansion pack villages makes the screen like this.



I tried removing the CC/mods, but to no avail. I also tried reinstalling everything as the guide said, still got the same result.
Any help with this?

Rename the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to The Sims 4_old
Start your game again.
No problems, then it's caused by Mods/ CC
Still the same problem ?
Download the latest Game folder from this topic https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t33004-the-sims-4-update-version-1-41-42-1020-out-now
Extract with Winrar, delete your existing folder Game from your install folder and replace with the newly downloaded one.

I tried doing the renaming the The Sims 4 to The Sims4_old, no luck. It still ended up showing the same screen when trying to join one of the DLC worlds. I also tried extracting the newest updated version which is the one you linked, still no luck. Still the same result.

Did you do the renaming of the game folder after installing Toddlers? Step 7 of the guide?

I did actually, but I noticed when I was installing the Parenthood DLC, I had 2 different zip files, one was just the base game itself (no dlc whatsoever, maybe a patch update?) and one is the whole DLC. Thinking of it, it might be the cause why my game was bugging.

I also followed how this was arranged, downloaded and did every single thing except for the "Infinite loading household". Hopefully this helps.

Hey, I noticed you fixed the same error I'm having. What do you mean by the patches?

Forgot to place the link on the first reply I did. Here's the link, I basically backed up every single save file I had, and reinstalled the patches/DLCs one by one.
