The Sims 4 SEASONS?!!

It's official - The Sims 4 SEASONS IS COMING TO THE GAME!
After years of wait we will finally receive our favorite expansion pack from all Sims games! And I know what you are thinking - AMAZING RIGHT!?
If you are unfamiliar with other Sims' games, Seasons is an expansion pack which adds weather to your game and summer,spring,autumn and winter.
One cool feature from TS3 Seasons I want to see is the festivals, so I hope it comes with the expansion too!
From the trailer it looks like a weather machine will be added. It also leaks supernatural powers of some sorts to control the weather. Did I say TRAILER? Check it out!

Yeap! Saw the trailer could not beleive it! I've been waiting for this forever, even if is a Sims 4 take on Sims 3 Seasons. Finally, some snow, rain... ****! there goes all my cc!

Finally! Let's hope it does not break too many things.

Oh good! Another chance to update all the mods. (Sorry for being so sarcastic but we've all been through this too many times)

Sofar it only occurs in the USA,
No problem in Greece.

This phenomenon of "torrents being monitored" and "[being] sent to your internet provider" is indeed mostly an American one. Though cases have come to be known in certain satellite states countries with close economic/diplomatic ties to the US. Such as the UK, Germany, Israel, more recently also France.

One way to circumvent the issue could be through using a suitable VPN that supports torrenting (see this comment here for example). Or use ZLOrigin to grab those Sims games.

Although: I still see lots of American downloaders in each of our releases, so I guess it will also depend on the specific internet provider.

Bear in mind that .net, .org and others are indicated as being American.

Of-course EA will monitor anything or anyone that circumvents their company from making more money. However, I do believe that this site offers a public service to many, like me that realistically could  not afford to buy the games retail or on-line. Not everyone has the extra cash and yet, everyone should be able to have access and play! That's one of the reasons I love this place, No one ever questioned why or if I had a legit copy. Another reason on why I seed whenever I get the chance.

Below, where it shows all these flags. It's not always accurate, because people may use VPNs for downloading. But still, judging by that "information", a lot of downloaders seem to use America-based IP addresses. Well, in this case it's just one, but looking at G4TW's downloads in general, I always see a lot of American flags.

I see in the trailer and the screenshots that there is no snow depth. lol, EA didn't disappointted me I almost thought they did a good job with this one. This is exactly why I never bought Sims 4 and never will. Sims 3,which I bought, rules all

Someone with better programming skills than me and/or some game designing experience could shed more light on this. But I guess that introducing levels of snow depth would introduce a layer of complexity to the game that would also need (a little bit) more system resources to function properly. And the game is still intended to be playable on lower-end computers.

Then again, it's just a guess from my end.

They confirmed it,there will be no depth in snow..Never mind,I just want weather in the game!

I'm not too bothered about the snow depth. They confirmed that there will be no hail either, which also doesn't upset me. I'm more excited about being able to control the temperature in my sims' houses and the other content not yet known that no other sims generation has.

I have Spectrum, formerly Time Warner Cable. I've never had an issue myself, but anytime I am browsing, I am connected with a VPN. Very important!

according to discord, seasons releases tomorrow on zlOrigin. could be a misprint though, idk.

if it's not, we get it early!

Maybe there is a "mole" (probably some Sims 4 "YouTube Let's Player", as some of them tend to get preview copies of the DLC)...supplying the ZLOrigin people with the new files?

I think zlOrigin is linked to an account and shared. they said the reason seasons is already appearing is because its pre-ordered. and i noticed many of the games in zlOrigin were free on the house giveaways.

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post but for those with ZLOrigin Seasons is available to download now. I couldn't quite believe it myself but I have been playing it for the past 2 hours!

Hello was wondering how long does it usually take from a Sims Dlc official release til it get released here :3?

It kind of just depends, sometimes it takes a couple weeks/months and sometimes almost instantly, they've been doing pretty great with their last releases for the new updates/expansions/stuff/game packs (:

The team works very hard to get it out and tested as soon as possible. First, they need to find a release with all the parts that are needed to make it workable. Just keep on checking the Forum after its release tomorrow. It should be a few days before it is already and tested for everyone's enjoyment.
