Sims 4 does not launch

I have installed all updates up to Version 1.42.30.1020. When I launch the game, I get a message from OrangeEmu64.dll saying Hello 
. I am running the TS4_x64.exe file as an Administrator.
I click okay on my dialog box and get the error: The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click OK to close the application. I have my anti-virus turned off, and it was off during the entire install and download process. I have replaced the game folder with a new one, tried both 32 and 64 bit on admin and not admin, and cannot find any working solutions. The game worked before I installed the DLC, and during installation various tested gave errors that said Origin was required. Can someone help me?
