Hello everyone,

I have followed the guide to install it correctly, but it still wont work. I have no ideas why, nor what to do now.

Help would be much appreciated.




EDIT: This is not AV related, as it's not being blocked by it and I'm using Avast.

The file OrangeEmu.dll is disabled by your anti-virus.

But probably the folder where you downloaded and extracted is not in the exclusions

No, that's not the case as I downloaded/extracted it in Game/bin folder which is in exclusions.

This might help:

"Hey might be a bit late but the error is cause by virtualisation and/or hyper-v. Turn it off in the bios/uefi and the game will open"

Try this: right click on Sims 4 shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Disable fullscreen optimizations. Don't know if it helps, I just don't have any other ideas.

Update: The disabling of virtualization and virt-d helped in UEFI/bios. I have no idea why, but now it works.
