Please help for the sims 4

Hi I recently downloaded the sims 4 from here, and it was working well until I added in Get together, when it started showing an error message saying that the Origin wasn't running, how can I fix this?

Most probably your install folder for the Sims 4 is still in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.
Move (not copy) the The Sims 4 folder out of Electronic Arts to f./e. just C:\Program Files (x86).
Make a new shortcut for your desktop from the new location.

Sorry, but what is f./e? As I am unable to find it on my computer

So just to clarify I am supposed to cut & paste to a random folder? Sorry I am trying to make sure I do every thing right

When your install folder The Sims 4 is within a folder named Electronic Arts, the answer is YES.
On this forum it is suggested to move it simply to C:\Program Files (x86)
