Issues with rain in seasons

With the new seasons ep, my sims are unable to use the umbrella stand and when out in the rain, they are not affected by it. I know it is small but i dont want it to turn into something big! I used the validator and this was my report:

Validator report is clean. You can delete "Game_" folder.
Did you use my installers, my DLC changer, or did you edit "game/bin/codex.cfg" yourself? This shouldn't matter, just curious.
What's probably the cause of your problem are mods. Try running your game without any CC and mods. Go to "Documents\Electronic Arts" and rename "The Sims 4" to "The Sims 4_". The game will re-create this folder so if you want to get your saves, mods and CC back just delete "The Sims 4" and rename "The Sims 4_" to "The Sims 4".
If that solves your problem it means some mods or CC are breaking your game. SimsVIP has a list of broken/updated mods, Sims 4 Studio can fix most of CC.
