Seasons issues

Hi, I just downloaded S3 seasons and no matter what I do, it won't let me play. I keep getting the insert disc error. I have tried the cracks, the ultimate fix, uninstalling, re-installing, restarting my laptop. Everything and the message keeps popping up. I have a mac. What should I do?

Where did you download Seasons from? Do you have a Mac?

Ok, let me know a few things then: How did you install the game? Did you create the .dgm file as they posted here?
Where did you put the crack on?

I followed the instructions in one of the post. Went into disk utility and made the .dmg. I went into "show package content" then resources, then c drive, then electronic arts, the sims 3, game, then bin for the crack.

Ok. You only have to put the one that is inside of the #crack folder into the base game bin folder. That's how I have it and it works great.

I did that but I'm still getting the error.

That's weird! I've just installed it on my sister's Mac and in hers is running great.

Yes, try that.
Remember:

1) Install base game
2) Update it with Patcher
3) Install Seasons
4) Apply the crack inside the #crack folder of the Ultimate Fix and then put it into the directory you already know.

I already have base game but I bout that one. Do you think maybe that's it?

I don't think so... Then just uninstall seasons and do it from that point

I finally got it! I think I was simultaneously placing the crack in the base game and the expansion. haha.
