No room in the Disc C to install the sims 4 Empty No room in the Disc C to install the sims 4

Hi all!

So yesterday I tried to install the sims 4 with all the EP following the instructions of this web. Problem is, I don't have enough room left in the C disc (where the default installation folder is). It is a SSD with 128 gb, but I have just around 34 gb left. In the D disc I have plenty of room (around 300 gb) but since the instructions recommend not to change the default folder I do not know what to do. I already have the sims 3 installed in the D disc and it works without any major problem, but I'm new to the sims 4.

Is there any special step I have to follow to install the sims 4 in the D disc?

Thank you in advance! Smile

Hello,

The problem with these install guides (included in the torrents) is that they usually become outdated at some point, especially in game series that "run" over several years. You can change the default folder, and should. Because the G4TW basegame of The Sims 4 installs under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts, which can cause problems with later DLC. So you should move the install folder of the base game, out of "Electronic Arts", preferably after installing the base game and before adding new DLC.

If you don't want to concern yourself with that, here is an easier shortcut for getting The Sims 4 with all DLCs and updates available thus far:
