How do I add CC/Mods to TS4 all in one?
Hi, yesterday I have downloaded TS4 all in one (thanks to whoever made that possible) and I was just wondering how do I use CC/Mods if it's possible.

When you copy all folders from the all-on-one.iso to your (external) hard disk drive you can add CC to your mods folder on that hard disk.KatKat wrote:Hi, yesterday I have downloaded TS4 all in one (thanks to whoever made that possible) and I was just wondering how do I use CC/Mods if it's possible.
You cannot add items to the downloaded iso, so you'll have to copy the folders to your hard disk. Same applies when you want to install future DLC's.
Of course you must make new shortcuts from your hard disk location The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4.exe or TS4_x64.exe and start your Sims 4 from there.

I did extract everything to the external hard disk and I created mods folder and they're not showing up. I have resource.cfg file in that folder, that didn't help either. I have enabled mods in the game in the settings. Is there anything I'm missing?

You put mods in "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods", not in game folder.

No, I'm talking about all in one sims, not the regular sims download.anadius1 wrote:You put mods in "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods", not in game folder.

A lot of PC games (regardless of legit, or not)...are using the "Documents"-folder to hold the savefiles and related stuff. Also note that after you extracted the stuff from the .iso, you must start the game at least ONCE, in order for the folder...
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\(Mods)
to show up. In theory you could create it manually, but I don't recommend that for the common user. You just need to go to the main menu of The Sims 4, omn your initial startup. Then exit the game, and look for the Mods-folder in the above-mentioned location.
