game wont start Empty game wont start

i bought the sims 3 and the sims 3 world adventures cd and i just installed a supernatural torrent and followed the instructions i open the icon and hit the play button but the game doesnt start running atall i see a loading thing on my mouse for a few seconds but thats it so whats my problem
