Sims 4: "no communication with Orange is possible". Empty Sims 4: "no communication with Orange is possible".

Hello! Everytime i click on the sism4 game link, a message pops up and says "Origin seems to be running. No communication with Orange is possible." But the game still runs. How do i stop this message from popping up? Thanks in advance

Try adding "Game\Bin" folder to your anti-virus exception list.

If you have Origin or ZLOrigin/ZClient running, then log off and close all of these windows. Wait a little, then try the game again. You can also open the task manager with CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and under "processes" or "details" look for the origin.exe. Right-click on it and choose "end process" or whatever the exact wording is. If the origin.exe is not there, then it's also fine.

I don't have Origin at all so I don't understand why that message would pop up. I ran the game as an administrator but that didn't work either.

Then try re-applying (copy/paste/overwrite existing files) whatever the latest DLC or update is that you used. After that try re-running the game.

No, you're not bothering (well, technically you are bumping a topic before the 24 hour deadline has passed, which by the Forum Rules is not allowed, but let's not be too pedantic here). First off, un-installing and re-installing by itself very rarely fixes issues with PC games. You may or may not find contradicting opinions on other websites/by other commentators, but in my experience it mostly doesn't work.

Secondly, this means your antivirus program is just bad. But maybe if you have Windows 10, check Windows Defender, here:

As for your other antivirus...if it doesn't accept your input, then consider un-installing it, followed by a re-boot of the PC. At the end re-apply your latest update or DLC.

Oh ok. There was this configuration settings file called "Origins" so I deleted it and the message stopped popping up

I should've started with this. Run the validator (in quick scan mode!) and post the result here. You still have some files from the previous crack, this will take seconds and tell us what to delete. Better do it now than later when you encounter some bugs.

game/bin/rldorigin_x64.dll
game/bin/rldorigin_x64_ext.dll
