Game wont start. First time this happened.
im actually tired and frustrated at this point. game wont start. i dont know why. this is the first this issue happened to me.
so i tested few things. so i copy the entire sims 4 game into my external hard drive. it fuuucking works. the game starts from there, i was able to load my game and play the game fine. like what? how?
but my actual sims 4 game is in my local D: drive it wont work. its all black screen and not responding. again, this is the first time this happened. ive been playing with g4tw sims 4 version from the very beginning. and im confused why this happened.
i didnt have any problem with my sims 4 game installed in a different drive and not on C: drive.
so please help. .

So running the game from your D: doesn't work but running it from external HDD, on the same PC, after copying the game from D: to extrrnal HDD works?
My only guess are some permission problems or anti-virus. So try disabling anti-virus first and if that doesn't work, delete game from D: and copy it from external HDD back to D:.

I had to edit the display name in regedit. i removed the TM in The Sims 4 name. Also for some reason the GDFBinary is set to C:
I've already changed that regedit entries before. I don't know why it "reset"? But the game works now.
