Unable to start the game 0x0175d824 error. [SOLVED]

Hello fellow simmers
I have build my first pc and decided to install the sims 3. I always get this error message when I try to run the game.
My system requirement are 
processor AMD Ryzen 5 2400g with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60GHz
RAM 8 gb
64 operating system
Windows 10 pro
I had all games install in my old computer and before I tried to install just the base game. I redownloaded the file from your site and followed and the instructions.
I always get the same error. 
Please help 

This will sound very stupid, but can you set it to run in Windowed mode?

I've been trying to help a friend reinstall The Sims 3 after a PC upgrade (Graphics card) and we kept getting the service initialisation error just like you.

We have been trying for 2 days.

We tried the ultimate fix, ccleaner, reinstalling, everything we could think of and find online.

We were trying the Nvidia GeForce Experience program because that had been rumored to help, when my friend for whatever reason decided to change it from full screen mode to Windowed mode.

IT STARTED IMEDIATLY!

I dont know if you have a simmilar facility, but maybe that should work?

Now, the thing is, he did actually use the ultimate fix, but it was confusing on how to install it ptoperly. 

So what he found, is you had to instal the base game first, use the MANUAL updater that you can get from Games4theworld, then install All other expansion/stuff packs, then you need to use the crack from the ultimate fix in the #crack folder, and then place those crack files in the install directory, (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/game/bin ) 

If you dont have an option to change it into windowed mode, i recomend googling what, how, and where the .ini file is for the games graphics.

It worked!!! It may have to do with the fact that I use remote desktop for my new pc to my all in one so I can have one screen. 
I'm so happy that I will play the game again

It must be added here though, that the instructions for the Ultimate Fix were written for an audience in mind, that still used the launcher for updating the game, so these "intermediary files" that needed to be put in, were necessary in the past. Nowadays you can indeed just use the items from the #Crack-folder.

Never heard about the trick with the windowed/fullscreen switch, but glad to hear this did the trick for you.
