(probably being stupid) latest update HELP

So I downloaded the recent G4TW update 1.51.77.1020 for sims 4 and added the files to my Sims 4 folder like I do each time there is a new update, no problems with that. But when I run my game there isn't any sign of change. There are some lots I have installed that say the newest version of the game is needed to play them.

I'm wondering if update 1.51.77.1020 is the latest patch for the sims 4 and whether it should be showing up in game (usually after applying new updates mods are automatically turned off) or if it sounds like I've done something wrong? 

Yes, it's the latest one. If it doesn't say 1.51.77.1020 at the bottom of main menu screen, then you did something wrong.
