Sims 3 Crashing due to this?

Okay, so I have recently experienced crashes on my game.
I used this program called "Crash Log Analyzer", it turns out that I have updates available?

Welcome to the Forum,

I personally doubt that these old patches are the error (I myself have been playing the game just fine without these patches, and for a long time). But you can try fetching these patches of course. They don't hurt, but I don't think either that they will help you here. Feel free to google the patch numbers, or if you like you can also download the pack from G4TW here:

And assuming your system is strong enough for running the game, this here comes to mind as well, that you should try:

Okay so I have applied the Sims 3 Ambitions Patch.

I'm currently applying the Sims 3 Late night Patch, but a error message shows up?

Did you make sure to extract the individual patch files from the .rar archive before running them ? (because I can see a small part of the WinRAR interface, on your screenshot)

A.k.a. you are not supposed to run these patches "from within" the .rar archive. They should be extracted someplace first.

If it still does not work though or if you really extracted them...I'm honestly not sure. Try the other patches though and see if they work. I would still recommend, if you haven't done so yet, to check out the crash-troubleshooter that I linked in my previous comment.

Okay so I gave up on patching Late Night, but my crashing stopped.

I guess I only needed to patch Ambitions..

But good to hear this seems to have done the trick! I would still try applying though, every single one of these patches that does work for you. If you downloaded the G4TW pack, it includes

- World Adventures 2.0.86
- High-end loft stuff 3.0.38
- Ambitions 4.0.87
- Fast-lane stuff 5.0.44
- Late night 6.0.81
- Outdoor living stuff 7.0.55

as well, so feel free to try it at some point.
