Sims 4 error on shadow. How to fix? [SOLVED]

how I am.able to fix the error code Hello;) 0X0000142?

I did download it and it keeps showing up cuz shadow is a virtual machine.. is there a away to stop this error without lose some dlc?

Except you're on Shadown so only option 1 and 2 applies to you:
1. Play with DLCs up to Jungle Adventure
or
2. Use ZLOrigin.

2. Use ZLOrigin. (needs to be online to start the game)

You can't install the newest version and just delete DLCs. It's not about the DLCs, it's about the crack. The latest crack that will work for you was made for game version 1.40.61.1020. So you need to get that version.

Install everything up to Jungle Adventure from G4TW or install The.Sims.4.Cats.and.Dogs-RELOADED + Laundry Day Stuff and Jungle Adventure from G4TW.

Or use ZLOrigin. That way you can play with all DLCs but need to be online to start the game.

For DLCs to work they need to be in game code. When Update 1.40 came out they didn't know what next DLC will be so you can't play any DLCs that came out later with this version of the game.


With ZLO you can use the newest version. You need an account and online connection.

So, i was able to log into zclient and i am inside zlorigin online, i added the game to the library but i still got the bug. do i need to download the game from another site?

Repair it in ZLOrigin.

Yes, it is a problem. Click on "Remove from Library". Close ZLOrigin and ZClient. Download and put this file in your installation folder (that's the one with "Game", "Data", "Delta" and other folders inside): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/295559662491795458/588771640666619955/ZInstaller.bat And then run it. Let it finish, it should say something like "press any key to continue". Then start ZClient and ZLOrigin.

okay, but sims 4 is still not in the folder, do i need to add it again now?

What folder? If you do as I said The Sims 4 should show up in ZLO. If it doesn't then you're doing something wrong.

ohh wait, i got it wrong. in the sims folder not in the orgin download folder.

Then open the folder with your game exe. The one you're looking for is 2 folders up. So if your game exe is in, for example, "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin", then you need to put the ZInstaller in "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4".

i did put it in the sims 4 folder. but it didnt worked. im supposed to downlaod sims 4 from another site? i got it the fitgirl repack.

Don't run it as admin, just double click.
