Can I make a copy of a part of my household and transfer them to a new game?

This is not exactly a problem I have with a game, but as I have the G4TW version of the game and not original, Zlorigin or whatever other options there and therefore I can't connect to the gallery as people with the original game, I thought this was the place to ask. So hopefully it is.

I have a household I've been playing with for a while. Two sims that I created myself plus kids and pets they got along the way. Now with the new game pack on the horizon, I thought I'd want to play with the same two sims I created for that previous game, but put them in a new game. So basically I want to copy their looks and personalities, but none of their family, skills, achievements and also preferably not destroy the household I already have with them? And if so, how? I just like how the sims I created look and want to play a completely different game with them.
