Issue with attempting to download Update 1.53.115.1020. [SOLVED]

Hello,

I have an issue with attempting to download the latest patch (Update 1.53.115.1020), mainly the fact that when I try to open the magnet link in Vuze. I get an error saying "No JVM could be found on your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 32-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com." I also get this message when I try to open up Vuze. It's been a while since I have opened Vuze and when I try to visit their website to look for an updated version of Vuze I get to a error 404 page. Also when I try to delete Vuze I get the same Java error message. Do you guys maybe have alternative download method for the latest patch. Because when installed Island Living I got it from a Google Drive link. It would be cool if I could get it from another Google Drive link...

Oh I should note that I have x64 device and not a x32. I also tried to install a newer version of Java but that didn't really do much. No matter what I try I cannot open up Vuze.

You were probably installing 64-bit Java version. Download 32-bit one: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (the one that says "Windows Offline" and weights 66.32 MB).

BTW their website works perfectly fine: https://www.vuze.com/

I did not find the google drive link anywhere just the magnet to the Vuze download... and I cannot access the vuze website on my end it still says 404 page not found but thanks for the link!

Seems like Vuze has some problems with their website. It worked for me moments ago and now I get 404 too.

Yes Yes I did see it but I was referring to that I couldn't find it before! I am sorry I should have said that I downloaded the update now and i am extracting as I type this message

You probably just overlooked it, and indeed, that announcement maybe contains "too much text". But I felt everything needed to be said... either way, no big deal. We usually try posting at least one direct download link in these announcement posts.

If not possible right at the time of the release, then at least later on.

Welcome to the Forum @nukunaru,

The reason you cannot find any download direct link there is simply because I deleted the link. It is not necessary anymore. If you download the newest "Moschino Stuffpack", it will already include the items from the 1.53.115.1020 patch. Please always consult the TS4 Must-Read guide to learn about what items are needed, and which are not. You will notice that the 1.53.115.1020 patch was removed from that guide, and instead we put there the "Moschino Stuff"-step.

The reason I removed the download is simply to free up space on my GoogleDrive, to prepare for Moschino Stuff.

Also note that we don't announce these things in advance. If you come across an (old) download and "something is not there anymore", please accept the situation as it is. It means either that we deliberately removed the download, or it got reported. Either way, we won't be re-uploading the item. Of course you are still 'allowed' to ask about it, but nonetheless my reply will always be the same.

The topic is closed, since everything has been said, and the original commenter's concern has been resolved too. Feel free to post a new one if you need more help.
