Sim keep resetting after meal

hello!

so I have been experiencing some odd bug/glitch/something...

everytime my sim finished their meal, they will reset (as in what happens when you reset a sim with the pie menu). and apparently this affects other sims that are seated on the same table as well. it's kind of a bummer because I will have to pay close attention to them, and/or use the need cheats on them if they are on a hurry. Above all, it is annoying.

this issue started after I installed the island living update, and persisted up until the 1.53 update. any suggestions of what I can try to do?

Most probably it's outdated mod.

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator and post the result here.
