New Patch from EA to solve Game Crash 9-17-2019

Take into note that some other glitches that came with Realm of Magic were not solved, like floating extra book slots on the library, which is not magically intentional. There is modders fixes for some of the glitches already out!



Hello Simmers! 
We wanted to swiftly address some unintentional issues that popped up following our last game update.
Thanks for your patience, and now onto the fixes...

• Did you know that one of the Island Living Counter swatches had an inconsistent color and texture compared to their Counter Island that was added later? It was a silly gaffe on our part that we felt compelled to fix as quickly as possible.
  
• There also happened to be a crash that was occurring when exiting CAS in the middle of a spellcaster idle animation. It was an issue that required unlucky timing to trigger and we missed it during testing. T’was Dark Magic I say! The darkest of magics. Worry not, brave wanderer; the issue has since been defeated.
  
• One other important fix coming: Columns were being forced to be medium wall height; no matter the actual wall height. Kind of lame, huh? Well, *wand waggle* *spellcast* *poof* FIXED! Columns now watch your wall height. Ahhhh - that’s better.

I think there will be more, coming since they don't mention other glitches that came with the GP. I think that EA is missings the good old days gone by of Twallan fixing all their glitches for free for Sims 3.

Off-topic, but on behalf of the G4TW administration I'd like to welcome @grieralexander - and a couple of others - to the new "VIPs" group! For now this is just a username color and an edgy-looking badge. 

They have no moderating powers, but a separate Forum section is planned, and possibly some other perks. We'll see how this turns out.

Well, I'm speechless. I've been a part of this forum, for what it seems a long time. When I first came to the Forum my Store Bought Sims 3 was unplayable and I was so tired of having to install everything over and over, every time a patch came out, until I found "The Fix" Then my whole Sims experience changed as well as been able to ask for help every time something was wrong. I would say that if it wasn't for G4TW and Twallan who made those incredible mods, so we could play without many glitches, I would have given up. Through time I've learned a lot just by reading the answers the moderators give to people with problems with the game. I thank you, to me is an honor to be part of this family. Thanks!
