Game is in Spanish after downloading TS4 Discover University

I want the game in English. 
I have already searched through the forum for a solution and a fix is available but the threads are old and I was unsure whether the fix would still work for the current game version.

Hello and welcome to the G4TW Forums @grvceuu,

Try this here. Go to where you have your Sims 4 installed. Go inside the folder. There is a subfolder somewhere now that says "Game". DELETE it. Now you open the .7z archive download for University again. Extract only the "Game"-subfolder there. And insert that fresh folder now...inside your TS4 installation, where your old "Game"-folder was.

Then try the game again.

I tried that but the game is still in Spanish. Is there anything else I can try?

Go inside the archive .7z file of University again. Look for the folder #Language Registry Files. Look for the "English" file, double-click it, ignore any warnings, and wait for a "success" message.

No luck  The game is still in Spanish.

Maybe you did not properly copy-paste the stuff, or you accidentally/unknowingly did something else that messed up the installation.

Unfortunately that validator which we have linked on this Forum is not yet working for the new 1.58.63.1020 version, so I wouldn't be able to help pinpoint your issue more clearly, I'm sorry.

Feel free to check back on the Forum though, for any newer announcements on that end.
