Gallery uploads. [SOLVED]
Hello!
I own The Sims 4 (and a few packs) on Origin, but I also have your whole complete version of The Sims 4.
I know the concept of the Gallery: I go in the Origin game, download the stuff to the library and copy the Tray files to my cracked version of the game.
Is there a way to do it the other way around ? Meaning that I don't want to lose the items that are in the packs that I do not own.
For example, I made a family in CAS (in the cracked version), saved it to the library and copied Tray files to the Origin version. When I opened the Origin game I checked the library and their hairs and clothes were basically gone... Is there a way to prevent that from happening? Because usually you lose the unowned stuff when you actually put them IN the game and not already in the library. Or am I wrong??
Just interested if there's a way

Hello,
And yes, you are wrong. There is also a "filter" when you try uploading something to the Gallery or even when you put something in your Tray-folder. So any content that you do not legally own (in Origin) will be removed.
People would then just come with cracked games and upload their stuff to the Gallery.
We can 'rest assured' that EA have closed all loopholes in that regard. I know this social aspect of "getting involved in the Sims community" is also a crucial part of this whole Sims 4 experience, but that aspect is locked behind expensive paywalls.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
