Problems with entering Build Mode and Manage Worlds

I've been having problems with my game since installing Tiny Living. When I click on an empty house and click on the build icon, the lot loads but I cannot edit anything. The usual build mode items do not show up, in fact nothing else shows up other than the house. This also occurs when I try to do that on an occupied lot, but not on every lot. I tried removing my mods file but the same thing happens. Can someone please help me?

First thing to keep in mind, is that almost all mods cause problems when you update your game. So you have to prepare each time, and grab updated versions of your mods. For the moment, if you use any mods, try removing them all, and then also as an additional measure try clearing caches:
