Sims 4 download not working. [SOLVED]

Hello. I am very new to using torrents. I installed the base Sims 4 game today and the installation wizard says everything is fine (after I made it repair a few times). Before I installed the torrented game, I forgot to uninstall my legally purchased version, so I deleted the legal one and reinstalled the torrent. The still game refuses to load and only displayed message is "The contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via Origin to play. [d6f91ffb]"

I am completely clueless as to how to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You get the error because you played the legit base game version of The Sims 4, which is on a higher patch version than the cracked game. You can fix the issue easily by going under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and then delete the GameVersion.txt. Then your game should start, though I'm not sure if you can properly use savefiles (created with the higher-patch-version game of The Sims 4). You might need to start a new save.
