Help with Sims 3 launcher.

I have tons of CC that i downloaded, but my sims 3 launcher freezes at "could not connect to orgin". HELP!

also something called 0DealtaBuild package came up in the Sims 3 Dashboard (Dephty) And it came up as corrupted so I deleted it, and it still freezes..

Hello,
If you're having trouble installing cc's, try cc magic to install and manage it. It also works as an alternative game launcher.
You could also start the game without the launcher.

By the way, you may need that file you deleted, so what you could do is this:
1. Go to: (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\
2. Backup (Read: copy to an other folder) the folder called "The Sims 3".
3. Now completely remove the "The Sims 3" folder from: (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\
4. Start the game.

The game will now rebuild that folder and its files from scratch. You can then put your saves, downloads and mods folders back by copying them into the newly created The Sims 3 folder.

The "Cannot connect to Origin" is normal, if you don't have Origin installed.

Sorry.. I really suck at doing all these mods and stuff..can either of you Team View me and fix it up for me? ;c

Also when I start up the game, on the first loading screen (after the annoying trailer after the EA symbol) It's a square in the mittle and the text at the bottom is white lines.. then when it finishes loading it says something about disk needed or somethin...OMG I have so many problems with this game.. (it was running good before..then The loader just randomly got F'ed up and I had to reinstall everything (yesterday) And now it's doing all this stuff..)

Hello,
Lets get to the no disc error first Smile

First, download this fix, and apply it.
When properly applied, it should take care of your no disc error.
Now, look at your CC. If you have sims3pack cc's, put them in C:\Documents and Settings\your pc\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads.
If you have package files, put them in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages. You may have to set up the framework, just follow the steps found here.
I recommend using Delphy's dashboard at this point to make sure there aren't any conflicting packages. This will only work for package files though. Just let is scan the mods\packages folder.
Now install cc magic, if you haven't done so, and start the program. It'll start by picking up all data from the downloads and packages folder you just put your cc's in. When its finished, look for the button rebuild and click it and it'll start unpacking and repacking all content. That may take a while depending on how many sims3packs you have. Basically what the program does is unpack the sims3packs. There are package files inside, and the official game launcher does the same thing. After unpacking, cc magic will repack them into larger packages for better game performance.
At this point you may want to run Delphy's dashboard again, on the same folder.
Now, you can start your game by executing the TS3W in your game\bin, but cc magic also has a game launcher function. It'll launch The Sims if you click "play" in the upper left corner.

Since you're so annoyed by the EA symbol and the video on start up, I strongly recommend using the framework the simswiki offers (from the second link I posted in this message) since it contains the "nointro" mod that'll start your game at the loading screen instead of the EA symbol.

I did everything you said and here's what's going on now.

1:The game loads up perfect (town life stuff now shows on the loading screen)

YET, the "No disc inserted, please insert town life stuff disk" thing pops up after loading.

2:The loader still freezes, but it installs CC if I click CC (for example, Ultra) And wait 20 secs after loader the installer pops up and installs (the loader is still frozen btw..)

3: :newfag: FUU!
