Hello,

I had installed The Sims 3, and World Adventures, Ambitions and Late Night and they wouldn't load. I came across this website and seen the ultimate fix, so I placed the files into the correct folder and now the game actually booted... to a black screen, and I got the error message;

'Unable to start game; Service initialization failed (0x024e424f)'

Any ideas? Smile

Hello,
The fix requires one of the following: Generations, Town Life stuff, Pets, Master Suite stuff or (probably) Showtime.

Okay, so I install generations and it says the game I am using needs to be updated on the installation, bla bla bla. It installs, but the name of the file in their is 'TS3EP04' and there is no 'TSLHost' to replace? It boots, but once it gets to the choose a neighbourhood screen it says I need to insert a disc?

Hello,
The crack should not be copied to the Generations bin, it goes into the base game bin.
Also make sure you have the latest fix, Admin updated it yesterday.

That's the right place yes but we can't see the crack file so tell us please, what is the latest file you copied to this folder, which folder in the fix did it come from?
