Sims 3 - sooo confused :( [SOLVED]

LOL! I'm such a I suck at life! LOL! I'm so sorry for such stupid questions!

I wrote earlier that I knew I needed to wait until the new update and the new game... but now I'm all confuzzled as to what to install when and how and why and .... oh my! I just got an email from the newsletter saying that the new game is ready (downloading it right now).


Right now I have installed and working properly:

base game

high end loft

ambitions

fast lane

late night


I stopped installing everything else because there was no crack for the newest version that I stupidly updated my game to ... so now there is a fix I'm assuming?


I have generations, town life, pets and master suite waiting in the wings to be installed, but I didn't download them through this forum (they are fairlight/vitality copies), should I grab the G4TW ones?????


So I downloaded the ultimate fix a couple days ago, do I have to download it again (are there new files in it?) ??? If yes, please point me to the exact thread its in.... thank you!
