I had the same issues. Make sure you use to Ultimate Fix first off, then MAKE SURE you put the #Crack in the Bin folder after you have installed and updated. Make sure it is in the base game folder not the expansion. I had the same issues.

You should place the crack into Bin directory of your The Sims 3 base-game folder, and run it from TS3W.exe (Don't forget to replace TS3.exe with UltimateFix!)
