Sims 3 Recording Video Issues. [SOLVED]

Okay, so my game runs fine. I have all EP (including Showtime) and a couple SP.

The game runs perfectly; however, it seems the video recording aspect of it is messed up. It'll record in-game just fine, but when I try to open it with Windows Media Player it says, "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.". DivX Player will open and play it, but it's a blank screen.

Please help me!

If it means anything... The videos record as AVI files.

Glad to hear it's working!
For easy editing, I just use Movie Maker 2.6, but it depends on what you prefer. I don't edit movies that much.

Admin! I could kiss you! I thought I'd download this just to try it. Lately when I record the Sims the videos would lag. I thought it was from the game but, it's the windows video player. I downloaded the link you posted and my videos play just fine.

Haha, I only use VLC Media Player. It has almost all codecs already built-in, so you do not need any additional codec packs. Because of this, it plays almost all video formats!
And let's be honest, the player doesn't look that bad.
