I don't have permission to edit the Bin folder? Empty I don't have permission to edit the Bin folder?

I downloaded the Sims 3 Showtime just fine, but when I tried to open it, the game told me to insert the disc. So I went on to attempt to install the fix (not the temporary) and my computer is showing this message:
I don't have permission to edit the Bin folder? Untitl10

help!

This might be kind of obvious..... but are you logged on as administrator?

Hello,

Yes, from the screenshot I can see that either the game or the launcher is open.
Completely close it and try again. It should work fine now.
