CANT PLAY THE SIMS 3 HELP!!!

I have the game disc of sims 3, and i downloaded the sims generations expansion pack, did everything you said but when it came to dragging and dropping the host file into the bin it said i didnt have permission so to solve this problem i downloaded the ultimate fix and followed the instruction guide, updated the game etc. Now the launcher loads but then my screen turns black and a pop up comes up saying 'unable to start game service inisilisation failed' what do i do ???????

Please close your game launcher if it's running in the background and then copy the files. Should work then.

copy the files to where? a new folder? and which files? sorry im new to all this downloading stuff :/

The files in the Ultimate Fix, copy those to the corresponding folders as instructed on the .pdf guide that came along with it
