How to uninstall the fix?

Hey.
I tried to download The Sims 3 Showtime and used the fix. It kept crashing my game and I went through the different instructions and read carefully but it's all too much for me and goes right over my head. So I uninstall Showtime and now my game is still crashing. Is there a way to uninstall the fix and get my original files back or do I have to re-install my games?

I've got every expansion that's been released and every stuff pack except for Outdoor Living. But they've all been retail versions. When my game first starts it lets me know about their being a modification and I click continue. It goes through the little Sims 3 video intro and when it hits the loading screen I get the "The Sims 3 has stopped working" error.

I meant every expansion except for Showtime. Is this still going to be able to help me or will I have to try reinstalling Showtime?

I did as you said and it's no longer popping up the message about there being a modification but it's still bringing up "The Sims 3 has stopped working". It works great until it gets to the loading screen.
