JUST WONDERING :/

Well everytime I run and play the sims 3, I was always asked by it that I have downloaded the unofficial game and that I would experience bugs if Id continue, but of course, I always do and it plays pretty well so far. Its not that its a big deal though. But the thing is, I wonder if it could be fixed, that it wouldnt ask me anymore, plus, I cant see the sims 3 expansions collection folders in game, you used to see em in the buy mode right? I thought if it would be the effect of having the unofficial game or just coz of the new update?

Yeah, did apply your fix and mines version 1.33 as well. It plays well so far, thanks for it

Ohh.. So if I don't put any mod on it (just to try), I wont see the msg that warns me to experience bug coz of having an unofficial game? And I would be able to see the expansion collection folders too? I thought it was just a part of downloading the game from you, that everybody is experiencing the same.

No we get a range of situations here with different causes, you never know what causes problems.
The unofficial game error comes up when you have outdated mods, but also when you have the wrong crack.
Do you have mods?

Yep I have, and i tried removing the mods but the unofficial game message's still there, plus I still couldnt see the different expansions collection folders in the buy mode. Or are they still available in the new update? And anyway, when Ive downloaded your games, I applied the sims 3 crack and followed the instructions when i was done downloading the sims 3 wa, unfortunately, an error occurred, the same happened when I did with high end loft stuff till late night, it kept on asking for a disk. So instead of uninstalling em, I decided to wait for the generation to be done and applied the fix, it worked but with the message. I continued downloading the remaining expansions, applied the fix then pooof, it became coco crunch (nvm that). So yeah, it worked well but with the unofficial game msg asking me over and over everytime i run it.

Hello,
Try redownloading and reapplying the fix. If your base is at game version 1.33, doing step 13 in the fix should be enough.

Oww... So really gotta redownload em huh, well then ok Imma try it. BTW, should I still have to follow the installation guides in sims 3 and each expansion or its ok if Id apply the fix right away?

Hello,
The fix gets updated every now and then after a new patch or expansion comes out.
Normally you can ignore the installationguide for the earlier expansions, it's a little different with WA and OLS, there are instructions on how to change the SKUversion in the guides. You don't always have to, but if an error comes up during installation about a different game region, you can use those instructions to change the SKUversion and be allowed to install.
You don't however, use the patches that come with the WA file, and skip the crack as well.
