The sims 3 launch problem

The game was working fine but all the sudden when i tried to start the launch it pops up and then an error message pops up and says there was an error during start up and to please see the log for more details. this comes up every time i try to get on to play. how can i fix it? i tried restarting the computer, i did the fix and everything. Help!

Please download CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com) and run a normal scan and a registry scan.

After running the registry scan, choose "Fix" problems.
