Game Crash Error: Needs Update

I was playing fine, then it wouldn't let me log in on my game, said I needed it updated. It was updated. I even restarted my computer to check. Nothing.
So I downloaded the manual update and the Ultimate Fix. I followed the steps just as they said and now whenever I try to start the game it just loads for a while, staying on a black screen. When I alt+tab or do anything it pops up with a window saying something along the lines of "You have an unofficial game mod downloaded that is not compatible with the current version of sims 3". I have the fix for version 1.33, my game is version 1.33. I don't know what to do.
I would really rather not have to uninstall my entire game.. again (I just got a new computer a month or two ago). I have a lot of content on there and all of the expansions/stuff packs. What do I do?

Hello,
I don't think you'll have to reinstall.
Start by checking your base game version to make sure it is indeed version 1.33, if it is, redownload and reapply the fix.
