Step by step for the sims 3 ambitions + adding cracks [SOLVED]

ok so heres the deal i have the retail version of the sims 3 installed, i want the sims ambitions, i have downloaded the sims 3 new updates and cracks and the sims ambitions thru games4theworld, but i dont know how to replace the cracks or watever thats were im lost , and since im very very new to this i dnt understand the directions, do you have a video tutorial or something that is basic to understand like where to actually go in the folders to copy the cracks and all that please someone help!

Simple.

Follow the instructions. "Cracks" are just application files that have been altered to be accepted differently by a program but still be recognized as legit.

Open the Crack folders. The "Cracks" are the files inside; these items have been altered to our benefit.

Copy/paste them into the appropriate /bin (read the instructions that came with the Torrent to understand which directory is mandated).

Tah-dah! All done. You've just "cracked" the game.

It's not hard at all, just drag & drop the cracks (as described in the Installation Guide) to the exact folder, as described in the Installation Guide. A popup will appear telling you the file(s) already exist; Just choose "Replace" and you're done!

ok , so i followed all the instructions and got all the way to where u select towns and thats when a pop up said "please insert the sims 3 ambitions disk" and it gave me the retry option and quit option and only the quit option worked! why ??? what did i do wrong

You didn't crack properly. Make sure to follow instructions and that you copy/pasted Selyo's crack files into the right directory.

ok ill retry to unintall and reinstall everything and let u kno what happens

This has nothing to do with the Selyo's crack yet, you can use the original NoCD Crack included with the Download.

There's no need to uninstall and / or reinstall, you just need to apply the Cracks. If you don't know hów to apply them, contact our Live Support through www.games4theworld.org when "Online" and ask them to apply it for you.

I just assumed since he's trying to use Ambitions, and it's asking for a CD, he didn't apply any cracks correctly (+ to play Ambitions, you need Selyo's fix) thus why I specified Selyo's crack in the answer. After all, you can't play without those cracks anyway.

Not everyone has the problem with that error. There are a lot of people who can play without the FIX, that's why I first let them do an original Installation and if they dó get the error, they can always apply the FIX afterwards.

i must say i am almost ready to give up on the entire thing, ive uinstalled and reinstalled over 10 times idk what i am doing wrong , here is my step by step procedure, once i install my ts3 retail version, i update it , then i install ts3 ambitions and update those verisons. after that i got to the ts3 ambitions rar folder pull up the instructions and open the folder that says "cracks" open the first crack folder which reads "cracks 1" i copy and drag that to the sims 3 game/bin move and replace the files, then i go to the cracks 2 folder copy and drag that to the sims 3 ambitions game/bin move and replace the flies there, then i try to start the game and it tells me theres no disk so where did i go wrong....and now my sims 3 base game is only updated to 1.14.11.007001 and its saying its up to date even though i know that is not the latest update

I recommend you contact our Live Support through www.games4theworld.org when "Online" and ask them to fix the problem for you. You're probably copying the files to the wrong folder(s).
