Running .exe files on Mac to run expansions installation Empty Running .exe files on Mac to run expansions installation

Post by Guest Fri 13 Apr 2012, 21:49

Hi guys juts wondering...

I'm in the process of transferring expansion files over from pc to mac. They are already unzipped so they should be ready to just install on the mac. One question i have, Does autorun/exe work with the files as it is on a mac?

If not what are the solutions?

If so, is the installation process the same as a windows computer?

Many thanks,

StanString

Hello,

No, the instructions are definitely not the same for Mac. You have to make a .dmg (image) file out of the downloaded/extracted files.
Try this first, please: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t2341-the-sims-3-pets-step-by-step-installation-with-fixes

Hello,

You have to extract the downloaded .rar file and then make one .dmg file out of all the extracted files.
