Sims 3 problem with ultimate fix.[SOLVED]

I'm pretty sure I installed everything properly and put the correct cracks in the correct folders, but when I start my game, it lets me load a saved game and then crashes shortly after. I have world adventures, ambitions and generations installed and they are all up to date. Any ideas about what's wrong??

Hello,
Probably not fix related, because you'd have gotten an error sooner during the start up process.
You're not getting an unofficial game modification error when you start the game are you?
Have a look at this.

I tried the link you gave me. #2 didn't work and I'm not sure where to locate my video card control panel. I don't get any errors when I start up the game. The only thing that's a bit strange when I start up is that when I go to load a save game, no text shows up but it lets me select to load it anyways. That's when it crashes.

Hello,
The video card control panel is accessed by right clicking anywhere on your desktop.
I'm wondering if your videocard is up to date, you'd be able to check for updates using that same control panel, or by going to the manufacturers' website.

I updated the video card but I still have the same problem. I'm completely stumped.

What if you launch the game via the launcher? Do you get an error?

No, It actually starts from the launcher. I', beginning to think that it must be a problem with my computer and not the game itself

I had to reinstall everything, but that did the trick. Works perfectly now. Thanks so much for the help!!!
