Sims 3 Crashing

I installed the sims 3 and all of the expansions, did the manual update patch and the ultimate fix. I started playing showtime to play for a few minutes then the game would freeze and crash. I can't figure out why it keeps crashing out of nowhere since I put the patch and fix beforehand. Someone help please!

Hello,

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\ and drag & drop the "The Sims 3" folder in there to your Desktop and remove it from your Documents.

Now start the game and you'll be forced to start a new game. Test this game and see if it still crashes.
