World Adventures Installation Update Error. [SOLVED]

Whenever I try and install World Adventures, I can't even get past the update. It says

"Error with the Sims 3 update. Setup is unable to continue"

I thought it was something about an SKU fix, but I've found no prominent info about that. I've been searching this site for around an hour, with no solution, might as well ask the forum, right? Both torrents are G4TW Torrents.

JUST found the installation guide IN the damn CD, I'm so sorry, I just wasted your guys time. It's been a long week, starting with this computer breaking and a project due, and finals next week.

EDIT 2X: HOLD UP! DO NOT CLOSE/DELETE THREAD! LOL! At the part where you patch the game (Step 5) I get that Invalid File error. I've seen threads about it here, but for the life of me, not a clue where, or where to start. What should I do?

btw, as per the guide, i've figured out that i should install the other eps and sps first, so doing that. could take a while. even days

Don't worry, we'll only close this thread when we're 100% sure everything is working as it should.
Let's see, you don't need to install all those expansions; you need at least one of the expansions described in step 1: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Oh okay, thank god, because...well, there's alot of them LOL k installing pets (cuz pets are awesome)

You can always install the others ones afterwards, if you like. No problem.
