Graphics error (missing sims and text)[SOLVED]

Hey there! I installed all of the games + stuff packs in the correct order following all of the steps. (I have all of them) I have no custom content or additional mods. All of the expansions were installed at the same time so I do not know if it works in a previous game and not in later ones. However I did download the base game + a few expansions (unsure which, I think pets was one) and did not have the problem. This was yesterday. I uninstalled everything since everything was out of order. I checked my computer for any residual files with ccleaner before re-installing.

My problem is that the introduction/loading screen appears black and then eventually white. The text that scrolls underneath appears jumbled. After the loading screen just about everything is fine but some text is missing (i.e. whatever the text is after you select a location for the first time.) In the create-a-sim feature the sim models are invisibile. Moving a pre-made family into a house results in them being invisible and their portraits being gone.

I'm running windows 7 with an Intel(R) HD Graphics card. According to "can you run it?" my computer should be fine to run the game.

I applied the ultimate fix and it did not solve the issue. Please let me know what can be done to fix this, thank you :]

What patch level are you at?

Yes the driver is up to date and it has 3.0 gb of ram.
Not sure what you're referring to by patch level but I when I tried to run this patch it told me I already was using that patch. So I think I'm fully up-to-date if that's what you're asking.
And I'm running it on a laptop.

Should also add that I ran than game with lower settings after restarting and I had the same issues.

Can you check your launcher just to double check and make sure you're on the right patch level?

Even though the patch tells you you already have the latest version, you might want to press "Yes" and re-update.
After that, re-apply the "# Crack" from the Fix.

Did the manual update and applied the "# Crack" from the fix. Still having the same problem.

Please provide your GPU's exact model and whether your Windows version is 32-bit or 64-bit.

So I had a few hours to kill and nothing to lose so I uninstalled then reinstalled everything up to and including the Pet expansion pack (I don't really need anything past that and I don't feel like testing my luck) and there's no graphical glitching. Haven't actual done more then make a family but everything seems to be running smoothly. So problem solved!
