No longer able to reach the money tree?

My sim used to be able to tend the money trees fine, but all of a sudden, she just complains that she can't reach the money tree...

My gardening positions look like this:
X= Money tree; S= Sprinkler, -= empty space, /= slanted fence; |- fence

Have you tried moving the not-working ones?

It sometimes works. The guy (husband) can get to all the trees, but the girl can only get to them some of the time. Right now, it's working, but I don't want to move my trees everytime she complains that she can't get to it.

Also, I have other plants in fences near the tree garden.

It's mostly in the middle area (the middle 3 columns).that they complain about. Now the male has started to complain too... They can get to all other plants, even though it's in the same format. I don't know if this is all trees though, because the Money tree is the only tree that I have.

I tried teleporting them in. Most of the time, they complain. I can
harvest the fruit if I stick them in the middle with the harvester, but I
can't weed them.

I haven't tried that yet. I'll see if it helps...
