i need some good stuff for the sims 3

i really need some nice custom content for the sims 3 if anyone can help me with that it would be really appreciated thank you

What kind of content are you looking for?
Aside from all the store updates Admin has linked you to, you can also get anything you want from the exchange.
For the most part, it should be safe to download mods and objects from www.modthesims.info and www.thesimsresource.com (<-not everything is available for free from TSR).
If you're looking for mods, I'd like to recommend http://nraas.wikispaces.com.
